No, as already mentioed, the official Spotify application ONLY works
on Squeezebox Touch and Squeezebox Radio, the limitation is mainly due
to restrictions from Spotify as I've understood it.
However, you can still use Triode's third party plugin, that will work
on the Classic, see the 3rd party plugins section in the forum for more
information about this.
