I think on some level this may still be true , but if you factory reset you get this very annoying near inescapable wizard that force you trough certain steps . maybe holding left and set sbs server in the fw menu would get the old result that the server handles it. There is no way around it on squeezeplay ? You do the mysqueezebox.com setup first . Then it looks for your local server ?
