We are not immune to the issue, in fact it just happened here yesterday
A.M.  But it was a brief disconnect and has been functioning fine since,
for me anyway.

For whatever reason only the server admins can explain the EU servers
have historically been much more prone to both more frequent and longer
duration outages/interruptions.
At least I hope the admins know what the cause is if there is to be any
hope of solving it.  :)
