This weekend's project is to try to get my classical, drama, and pop
files organised into Multi-Libraries and Custom Browse, as per:

http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Setup_browse_menu_for_classical_music

While setting up the 'mixed tags' menus for the Custom Browse section
of that howto, SBS did not give me Custom Browse's 'mixed tags' option.
Looking more deeply, I couldn't 'download more menu items' because (I
think) my SBS is not reaching MySqueezebox.com.

On the plugins tab of the SBS settings page, at the top, SBS says:

Bad repository http://www.mysqueezebox.com/public/plugins/logitech.xml
- 500 Unable to connect

Bad repository http://www.mysqueezebox.com/public/plugins/other.xml -
500 Unable to connect

Bad repository
http://www.mysqueezebox.com/public/plugins/repository.xml - 500 Unable
to connect

The box (running Debian Lenny) has worked flawlessly for a year or so,
and nothing has really changed (some new music folders, and folders for
Custom Browse). The box reaches the internet ok; Firefox can see the
web and, particularly, this forum. DNS is resolving ok.

Thinking, perhaps, that SBS started before eth was up, I unchecked one
of the plugins - this causes SBS to restart. Even after restart, SBS
still shows this message on the plugins page. (And the plugins list is
shorter than usual, I guess the 'unloaded' ones are not being shown.)

I have seen odd remarks elsewhere about how to make sure eth is up
before SBS starts; while I don't think that's the cause here I'd like
to explicitly prevent that happening. If someone knows what statements
to enter and (roughly) where under Linux, I'd be grateful and I would
include them if they're not already there.

Otherwise, anyone any clues?

regards, Atlantic
