Sorry for being a little inconsistent ;) the SB3 is not connected to a
local server, that's what i meant by being always connected to mySB.
However the problem is that is is not actually connecting.

Initially when I set up the SB3 to connect to mySB it sort of worked,
by that I mean it connected okay but when it was switched off it
eventually disconnected and could not reconnect. I had a fix around
this which was to toggle the power via the online remote
http://www.mysqueezebox.com/player/playerControl So, it was still
connected such that the online remote could switch the device on, but
it would not respond to local commands via the physical remote
control.

This arrangement (although not ideal) was continued for a week or so. I
then tried to fix it by disconneting the SB3 from mySB using the
disconnect button on mySB. It disconnected ok but connot reconnect,
this is where I am now.

any suggestions?

thanks in advance,

Tim
