I have a duet and have been using it for years without much issue. For the last year and a half I've been running sqserver and then LMS on WHS v1 without incident. A few days ago I updated my home server to WHS 2011. I installed LMS 7.7.2. Local music plays just fine. I can not access internet radio though. First thing I did was disable firewall and windows defender (no other av on server). Made no difference. The login within the server is correct. I can also go to mySqueezebox.com, login, and change from duet to msb and it works. From within the server using the duet (not msb, duet is recognized), when I click on "local", "talk" or do a search I get "There was an error loading the remote feed for xxxxx: (Connect timed out: Bad file descriptor)" no matter what I do!
Under diagnosis sometimes everything is ok (ping etc). Sometimes it's failed. Even when it's "ok" I can't connect. Majority of the time everything is listed as ok. I know it's on the server end but can't figure out what. I found many, many threads with similar issues but no resolutions. The server has a static IP setup within the router (dd-wrt) setup. The duet has a static IP as well (set on the duet not within router setup). Duet is connected via CAT 5 to a switch (same exact setup I've been using without incident). All other devices on the switch work just fine. I know it's something on the server end because I installed LMS on my win 8 laptop and it saw the radio stations right away. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times, I've tried three versions of LMS, I've turned the firewall back on and verified that LMS is allowed, I've stopped and started numerous times, I've flushed dns. Same result no matter what. Also to note internet on the server works just fine using IE or chrome. Again local music works just fine. I'm at a loss here ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ steely74's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58461 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97566 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
