The other day, after finding the RadioIO streams in AAC but at low bitrate (64kbs) on my Touch, I emailed RadioIO about how things were going. Here is what Greg Walters at RadioIO Support (who has been informative and timely in his responses to my questions) had to say:
-As for the Logitech devices. They are working on their app (for higher bitrate streaming of the AAC streams). The issue you are seeing it due to work that they are doing to connect their systems up to our new streams. This is work that they have to do and we cannot hurry them along. When they are done you will be able to login properly. The silver level of subscription is Ad supported and at 64KBS. When all stream bit rates are available you will have access to the 64, 128, and 192KBS streams. Currently only 64k is offered due to issues at our streaming provider.- I have further asked if I will be informed when the app upgrade is complete and will I receive credit toward my RadioIO subscription for the months that they have not provided the "audiophile" stream. I am awaiting Greg's response.
