Well that's the thing, I wasn't using an ambiguous MAC, I was using the unique hardware MAC, something that I've done in the past with numerous setups just like this. It appears that mysqueezebox.com is not registering MAC addresses outside the Squeezebox range. More tests: I installed 7.7.4 on my mac running yosemite. I ran squeezelite 1.6.4 using my NIC's MAC address. I can't add the player to mysqueezebox. I installed vortexbox on a spare machine I had laying around. They DO spoof mac addresses for their players. Added up to mysqueezebox just fine. Opened up a brand new Pi and installed fresh Raspian, LMS 7.7.4 and squeezelite. No dice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wonton's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63558 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102489 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
