Especially don't do this with iPeng (probably the same with the Logi App). The problem is: whenever you do that, you lose the registration on MySqueezebox.com and your device ID is permanently deleted and a new one created. If you do that a lot you flood your MySB account with dozens of old controllers which you can never delete again (and not see) which can considerably slow down the communication between MySB and LMS.
