I'm sorry to bring you bad news. I got a response from WiMP, and it's
succinct:
"The buy to stream feature is not supported in the new API ( tidal and
wimp )."
The new API is what we're now required to use to get the streams.

Background: we do check whether a track is flagged streamReady and
allowStreaming. Only if both these flags are set on an item we would
show it in the menus. In the case of this particular track this is ok.
Yet when we try to get a stream URL to play it, we'd get an error back
("Track is not ready for playback"). IMHO that's a problem on WiMP's
side. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an issue with the Tidal
integration, as afaict Tidal no longer offers the possibility to buy
tracks. And that track is not available for streaming without buying it
in WiMP either.
