New owner here. Here's how I released my Transporter from the previous owner's account (he wasn't coming to the party to remove his old transporter from the account): Basically it comes down to changing the MAC address to some other unique value (that is not a duplicate with yet another player somewhere). I can describe the process if required, but it was fairly easy.
