Only streamed internet radio to my hardware Squeezebox via my.squeezebox.com for years. I added my user account credentials via the Squeezebox itself, I think.
For holiday fun? decided to build Logitech Media Server to serve local mp3's at home. On the Server Settings web interface tab for my.squeezebox.com, you can put your credentials in there. Aside from entering them into LMS to 'keep player settings in sync', how is this login credential page different from the one on the Squeezebox itself? If you don't put your credentials in at the Squeezebox itself, but only in LMS, would you still be able to access my.squeezebox.com from the Squeezebox?
