I've got the same problem but only on my squeezebox radio. Radio works fine on boom and classic squeezebox. I've LMS installed on Nas. (BTW, what do you mean with proxy radio streams??) The Radiostream has no https (http://wdr-wdr2-ruhrgebiet.icecast.wdr.de/wdr/wdr2/ruhrgebiet/mp3/128/stream.mp3) Do you habe any ideas?
