I have an Innuos music streamer - which I believe runs Squeezelite
v1.9.7, and it is controlled using iPeng9 on an iPad. I can still access
my TIDAL account via the TIDAL web-page, using my usual name and
password, but the same credentials no longer allow me to access my Tidal
account via my Innuos/Squeezebox. This has only happened in the last
couple of days since I last used TIDAL on my Peng/Innuos system.

Well, I'm sorry to say, but that's not my problem. Innuos was aware of the change but obviously didn't update their system. Authentication using username/password is no longer allowed.

On a second thought it turns out it is a problem for me: I wasted time trying to understand why there were still calls to the old auth mechanism. Argh...

You will realise that I have very little technical knowledge about
Logitech Squeezebox, as it is essentially 'hidden' behind the Innuos
operating system and iPeng control app, but I would be grateful if
anyone can help me with a simple, step-by-step guide to
re-authenticating my TIDAL account on my Innuos/Squeezebox device.

Please get in touch with Innuos. And ask them to be open and fair wrt. using mysqueezebox.com. They seem to do a great job hiding the fact, but a poor job getting it done correctly. They do NOT have a deal with Logitech.
