The Password Manager has been running on all PCs since I bought my first Squeezebox and installed LMS. I did have to create special firewall rules in Norton for LMS, but that hasn't been an issue for years.
kidstypike: I get what you're saying but I generally only have one computer on at a time. I suppose I could use your suggestion and just give up on the main desktop for running LMS, using another machine for running LMS and access it as you suggested. I never thought of that, to be honest. The problem with that is all my personal music files are on that machine.
