First, thanks for answering during your vacation, much obliged! mherger wrote: > > "your data" really isn't much. Sure, you don't have to trust me. But all > > I'm being asked for is usage numbers. I'd love to know what data is sent, perhaps I'm over-cautious but without doing a full audit of the perl code (not my preferred language) it just seems like "hey, yeah, we send some data but don't worry about it" which is one thing coming from someone you trust, quite another when corporations get involved (e.g google could say "we don't send much data" but noone would trust that in their right mind!). Perhaps a list of what is sent would ease my mind. mherger wrote: > > As for your request: Qobuz/Spotty are the only music services working > without mysb.com. Companies don't want "destreaming" to be the new piracy, but at the same time, they want to provide paying customers with service. mherger wrote: > > Even Qobuz, who used to be pretty open and developer friendly, had to > close down many of their resources, because the right holders didn't > like the openness. Thanks again for your answers so far, please, enjoy your vacation, my question above about the data can surely wait! -- Martyn ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iMartyn's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68667 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115898 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
