I posted a 'question '
the 3rd party software forum because I was trying to understand why I
could not see any sign of Deezer, despite apparently having the plugin
installed. Basically, I am interested in trying it out and am trying to
figure out what I will need to do to get it enabled.

I now see that it has some dependency on MySqueezebox.com. I do have a
MSB account that I set up many years ago but otherwise I do not think I
have ever used it for anything. This is mainly because I haven't felt
any need so far, but also because I have a preference to keep things
'local' as far as possible as it feels like there is less to go wrong
then. However, if it is needed for Deezer, then so be it.

So, can anybody help me out with these questions:

1. Is there a "getting started with Deezer" guide somewhere, or can
someone outline the steps I need to follow?

2. On a more general note, can anyone explain roughly how the Deezer
integration works, where MSB fits in, and so on. My mental model for
Spotty is probably overly simplistic, but it is essentially that we have
a plugin in the server that, from the point of view of Spotify, makes it
act like a connected device (like a phone or PC application instance).
That seems straightforward, but with Deezer, there is a local plugin as
well as some involvement of MSB. I'd like to gain a very basic
understanding of how the different parts talk to each other and what
their responsibilities are.

Thanks in advance for any help.
