Hi all,

The Squid 3 configure script under ksh is showing:
  checking whether compiler accepts -fhuge-objects... yes
but that's not true for my g++.

Here's a test case to show what's happening:

$ cat test.sh
`exit 1`; echo $?
`. /dev/null; exit 1`; echo $?
`. /dev/null; exit 1` >/dev/null; echo $?

Results (reformatted):

bash:   1, 1, 1
ksh:            0, 1, 0
ksh93:  1, 1, 0

Weird huh. Suggested patch follows.
