As I said accelerators are allowed to do whatever you please as long as the end result complies with the RFC. Meaning it is perfectly fine to have the accelerator set all the timestamps, cacecontrol etc as if it was a web server (it is a web server). It is generally not ok to not send a Date. Only if the server is clockless is this allowed, for example in an embedded device not having a concept of coninous time. regards henrik
