Since I started using squid I have problems with setting it as transparent proxy. It's working now, but only for port 80
here is my configuration:

httpd_accel_host virtual
httpd_accel_host CACHE

You can only have one httpd_accel_host...

When I try to set:
httpd_accel_port 0
squid tries to access destination address at port 0?!?

Are you sure? It should be trying to contact the destination address at the http_port port number..

I'm using squid-2.5.stable8. In change log of stable8 I found this change:

- [Minor] httpd_accel_port 0 (virtual) not working correctly (Bug
          #1121)

This is a was a different bug for reverse proxies not using httpd_accel_host virtual.

Your problem is Bug #1193.

Is this bug fixed?

No, as I haven't found anyone outside of the Linux world interested in testing the required changes.

The changes needs to be verified to at least build OK on the other interception platforms as well. But if I get an OK at least from FreeBSD then the patch can make it into 2.5. Until then it will sit and wait in Bugzilla as it is very easy to work around.
