On the other hand, if we do not use Boost, our API would not need to change either :-). I did not mean to start a "let's migrate to Boost!" discussion. While it could be worthwhile to revisit that topic (perhaps in a different thread), my needs are different and immediate: I am looking for either a way to make current cbdata work for non-trivial classes OR opinions on adding class-friendly weak pointer functionality to Squid.
