When we have some experimental code, is there any special procedure to
test the current branch? or simply can we do as usual (./configure || make || make install ) and helping us with gdb?

It's the usual dance of compiling and trying to run & debug the code,
nothing special. When you need help, ask here or on the #squiddev IRC
channel on freenode.

Code in the CVS is immediately available for all to test with a simple
cvs checkout, and to inspect via the patch & changeset viewers on
devel.squid-cache.org (up to 24 hours delay in the tools however..).

Is mandatory to do a cvs checkout with working code? or, would it be possible to do it with incomplete code?

thanks
Emilio C.
