I'll note that OpenLDAP also builds with MinGW/MSYS.
Sorry, just failed with openldap-2.3.38 and latest MinGW + MSYS, but
configure was fine.
But this is OT on squid-users, so it could be better to continue this
thread privately in italian .... :-)
