Good question. I only had 2.7 on hold for that. The tag is already laid,
bu can be moved. But it's also acceptable you roll the Windows release
with those Windows specific changes.
The changes affect all the Windows environments: Cygwin, MinGW and
VisualStudio.
Certainly I will release the binaries with these changes, but I think
that probably it could be better if they will also be in the main release.
