There are now two approaches possible for this:

a) unzipping the shar into gif and storing those in bzr directly.

- This is the preferred method. Are there any reasons for not adopting it in the next 3.0 and later releases?


b) adding a binary test for uudecode and optionally skipping the shar unzip if its missing.

- less clean and affects multiple targets. This can be done though if option (a) can't.
