IME it can take *much* longer than 10 minutes, and if the box is under
load, doing this can cause problems.
Then we should have a bug open - simple things like this should not
cause problems.

Indeed, I thought the store garbage collection event was on a 5-10
minute loop?
Deletions should not be time-consuming as unlink is done by external
helper in near-atomic fashion (with no feedback to squid to slow the
main process, itself a bug already).
