A long time back Henrik mentioned possibly unifying the various format
codes Squid uses around the config file.
The codes in logformat, external_acl_type and deny_info.
I'm starting the planning for a second attempt at porting the 2.HEAD
internal re-writer feature. In 2.HEAD this uses a subset of the
logformat codes. Which will involve extracting the format code parser
out of logging for re-use.
What are your opinions on converting the deny_info/external_acl_type
codes over to the same format set as a precursor to the portage?
