Hi Eliezer, I am just working on squid 3.1.16 as of now. I had integrated a patch from squid devel projects site HTML patch for achieving 'prefetching of urls' or 'proactive fetching of urls'.
I already had a tough time integrating the patch which was based on a very old version to 3.1.16 when I started out last year that I don't want to upgrade once again now. I will probably do it once my code stabilizes and I have time :) I am working on developing a prefetch feature (integration of the patch + additional features) for my company.
