Cache under Cache under Cache

Hi All,

I have been trying to figure out how I am going to set up my internal Squid
cache/proxy which is behind the firewall, and still make use of my ISP's
cache.
Couldn't I have my main 4 Gig cache inside the firewall, and then, on the
firewall would be a much smaller cache as its parent, which will have a
parent at the ISP ?

Is this configuration unrealistic, or benefits simply not worth the trouble
?
