I was the shmo who began this thread. I just wanted to thank all of you
for your help. I was able to successfully compile and run Squid 2.2pre1
with the following compile line:
CC="xlc_r -D_ALL_SOURCE" ./configure --disable-pool
I hope that helps you who are still struggling with AIX.
