ftp upload - again

I got flooded with error messages before while sending this, so here it is
again:

I've been having some problems getting the FTP upload feature in navigator
to work while using  Squid as a proxy.  Namely the menu command 'Upload
file...' is
disabled. Is there some
config file option in squid.conf that I am missing?  Maybe compile time?

Using Squid 2.1p2 on FreeBSD 2.2.7
Browser: Communicator 4.5 for WinNT
