SPA software problem...

I'm probe build the spa-v2 in my system (Linux 2.0.36 gcc version 2.7.2.3),
but the make command is fail :

gcc -g -O2 -c cache.C
gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or directory
make: *** [cache.o] Error 1

Where a good SPA makefile for Linux ?

Where are any web proxy-cache simulator program available ?
