Does anybody know offhand the exact method that Squid uses to store cached
objects? I was always of the impression that it was a hash coding. Since
it appears to start at the bottom of it's L1 directories and fill upward,
I find it hard to believe that this is the case.
Any light any of you could shed on this would be greatly appreciated.
