Looks like I don't understand all the steps needed to disable quick_abort
(very dangerous on a 128k connection :) ). I have this line on my
squid.conf:
quick_abort_min -1 KB
The other two are commented:
#quick_abort_max 0 KB
#quick_abort_pct 0
Should it be enough? However, I just made a couple of tests and the
transfer went on and on long after I had closed my MSIE download window
(on Windows 95 over a 33k6 PPP connection).
