SQUID2 problem

Hi!
I am running on my Linux squid-2.1.PATCH2, but all time I gets the next
message:

FATAL: Write failure -- check your disk space and cache.log

But I have 300Mb free disk space,
squid.conf:  cache_dir 200 16 256

But my cache crashes. Could you tell me what does it mean?
I have Linux with 2.0.35 kernel, squid 1.1.22 works good!
