dnsserver - Squid2.1patch2 on Solaris 2

I've recently upgraded my proxy server to squid 2.1patch2

I've also upgraded the machine to Solaris 2.6

But now the new dnsserver doesn't fetch ip addresses.

nslookup works fine. And when I ported the old sunos dnsserver over all
seams well so I believe the OS is O.k..

Am I missing something obvious????
