authentication doesn't work anymore

Hi all,
    i'm currently running squid2.0.patch2 with no problem. Now i compiled
the 2.2.stable2 over a slackware 3.6 distribution with shadow password
(like all the slack distro), for avoid trouble i have cutted the lcrypt
libs request form any makefile. The result is that authentication no work, i
tried adding -lshadow instead of lcrypt but nothing change. With lcryopt i
hav ea warning and the squid carsh.Someone ahve any help information ??
