acceleration and proxy_auth

I'm trying to get proxy_auth working with Squid 2.2.Stable2 in accelerator
mode.

I tried replacing the HDR_AUTHORIZATION with HDR_PROXY_AUTHORIZATION in
acl.c, and commented out the lines that disallowed acceleration and
proxy_auth, but had no luck.

There were some postings in Oct. 98 regarding this topic, but acl.c and
client_side.c seem to have changed since then...

Does anyone have any hints? Thanks in advance.
