Many thanks.

I believe my statements apply to the latest Squid version.

Sir, there are many series of Squid , e.g., version 3.x ~7.x.. Will all be
upgraded ?

That depends on what you mean by "upgraded".

First we need someone to create and submit a code fix for the issues. After that passes our review process, supported versions will be fixed.

The Squid Software Foundation (the main Squid developers) only supports the latest "stable" release and some development, maybe a beta release.

Currently the supported versions are v7 (latest stable release series) and future-v8 (in development / "alpha" code). Once we call a version "fixed" you can expect to be able to download and build any later version and not see the problem.

Vendors distributing Squid make their own choices about which versions to release and support. That varies by which OS (and OS version) you use. They may provide binaries for a "fixed" Squid version, or patch an older version.

If you are building your own Squid you get to choose for yourself which type of upgrade to do.
