Very simple: A reply which does not fit in a single UDP DNS segment (at most 512 octets). The size limit of 512 octet is reaced on a few distributed websites with a lot of public IP addresses. Can also easily be reached when fetching glue records (not relevant to Squid, only to the DNS resolver Squid is talking to via DNS). Regards Henrik
