When you are running as a proxy (not transparent interception) and have IDENT/RFC931 support on your clients. Requires a IDENT server to be running on each client. ident is NOT related to authentication. If you want automatic authentication then the ntlm authentication scheme is most likely what you are looking for. Regards Henrik
