I thought about that, and yes I have read the FAQ.

Hardware: Sun E250
2 300MHz Ultrasparcs
2g memory

cache_mem 16M (I've tried setting it as high as 512 with no impact)
cache_dir diskd /prox 12000 16 256 Q1=64 Q2=72

I've tried ufs as well.

squid never seems to use more than 10m of RAM.

Perhaps I need to recompile with another MALLOC?

Thanks

I think you have configured memory wrong

Same Problem

Same Problem

Your Hardware?
cache_mem?
cache_dir?

Have you read the FAQ for Squid on memory?
