Hi, Recently our squid process started getting terminated soon after starting, with following message in log file. Feb 25 12:45:43 sun squid[18710]: Squid Parent: child process 18716 started Feb 25 12:45:44 sun kernel: bug: kernel timer added twice at e09481d7. Feb 25 12:45:44 sun squid[18710]: Squid Parent: child process 18716 exited due to signal 25
We found that store.log had become around 2 GB in size. We just moved that file to somewhere else, and created a new empty store.log. Since, then problem is resolved. I just wanted to know if deleting store.log has any impact on squid lookups/usage of cache or not Tushar
