Well I just installed and compiled squid as root and i have --enable-icmp during configure.. but still pinger will exit when squid is running, thats why i have to make pinger.. but no luck...

You also need to first build Squid. Note: pinger is automatically built and installed when ICMP pinging is enabled by configure, but you will need to finish the installation as root. See the Squid FAQ for pinger installation instructions.
