What do you mean by 'start but won't work' ? Especially what's in cache.log for this particular stadium. > and more squid processes. When I want to reconfigure with the -k option > I get this error: "squid: ERROR: no running copy". I get the same error > when using the -k shutdown option. I am running it on Red Hat. > Can anybody help me out? You probably got squid exiting , upon attempts to start it. Hence reconfigure or shutdown actions may be meaningless when there's no running squid. P.s: which version of squid are you using ? > > Thanks in advance, > > Colin -- 'Love is truth without any future. (M.E. 1997)
