Hi,
I am using Squid Version 2.5.STABLE1 running on Redhat 7.2 kernel
2.4.9-34
In the cache.log file there are intermittent occurrences of FATA
messages like this..

FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying.
2003/09/18 13:20:55| storeDirWriteCleanLogs: Starting...

The Squid appeared to restart successfully after that. It does not
appear to be load related though because this can happen in the middle
of the night when no users are using the proxy.

My apologies I could not find a version 2.5 related issue at the Squid
support site.
The Squid 2.5 was recently upgraded from older version 2.3 which had NO
such problem at all.
Any idea is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Daniel
