Hello, I am migrating the /etc/squid.conf-file of the squid-proxy-paket from SuSE Linux 7.3 to Debian Woody r1 ... manually, line per line, of course.
The SuSE squid-version is v2.3 stable 4 and the Debian squid-version is v2.4 stable 6. In the squid.conf of v2.4 there is a comment-line below the description which shows the default configuration for each tag. This is definitely signed: #Default: # Tag anytag ... Squid v2.3 is similar, but the comment line below the description isn't definitely signed as "default": # # Tag anytag ... MY QUESTION: Are these comment lines in v2.3 also the default values like in v2.4 or not ? Can you tell me if the default values of v2.4 are still the same as in v2.3 ? Unfortunately the default value is not always mentioned in v2.3 (in contrast to v2.4). Where can I get information about what are the default values in v2.3 ?
