Hey there

My System:
FreeBSD4.8
squid-2.5_4
samba-2.2.8a

My Setup:
squid authenticates over samba ( windbind ) user on a PDC and restricts
internet access according to there DOMAIN/USERNAME/GROUP
This seems to work fine but somehow DOMAIN authentication fails

My Problem:
user authentication with wbinfo (wbinfo -a username%password) fails from
DOMAIN which ist not specified in env var. WINBINDD_DOMAIN
but succeeds using the helper wb_auth (Domain\username password) or wb_group:
i have tested both in interactive mode.
I guess somehow those helper ignore the variable. or else Winbind does??.
using samba variable allow_trustet_domains is not an option since more than
one Domain has to be authenticated.

I really hope there is some kind of workaround.
Thanks for your Help
