Hi all, i am using squid 2.5 stable 4 and i have a query.. i am using reply_body_max option to limit the download size to 5 mb, for http, it works fine.. for ftp , when the it is in url style, squid blocks downloading the file > 5 mb for example.. ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/anaconda-imag es-9.0-3.noarch.rpm
but when i open the ftp site and say "copy to folder" for the file and try storing it in my pc, squid does not stop it... for example open ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS and try copying the anaconda file, squid does not stop.... any pointers on how to tackle this and block that also ? thanks in advance. regards, raja.
