Hi All, I am running Squid on FreeBSD with two NICs. Lets say for example, NIC1 = 1.1.1.1 and NIC2 = 2.2.2.1. And my default gateway is 1.1.1.2 (the gateway (router) also has an IP address of 2.2.2.2 but we use 1.1.1.2 as the gateway) I have bound Squid to the 2.2.2.1 IP address.
When Squid goes and requests something from the internet, how can I be sure that it will ONLY be received/downloaded by NIC2? Does the binding affect this? Or is this a kernel thing (I would need to run BGP or something?) Thanks! Best Regards, Andrew [EMAIL PROTECTED]
